At Reed Dental Care, our team is here to help you navigate your benefits so you can focus on your oral health rather than paperwork.

Dental Plans We Work With
Reed Dental Care works with multiple insurance providers and is proud to be in-network with HealthChoice and Delta Dental Premier. Being in-network with these plans means your covered services are billed at negotiated rates, which helps keep your out-of-pocket costs as low as possible.
As a courtesy to our patients, we will file your insurance claim on your behalf. At the time of service, we will only ask for your estimated co-payment. If, after 60 days, your insurance has not paid its portion, that balance will become your responsibility. Any amount left unpaid by your insurance company is also your responsibility.
We also work with patients who have Veterans Affairs (VA) benefits.
Insurance plans we are in-network with:
- Delta Dental Premier
- HealthChoice

Patients Without In-Network Coverage
If your insurance plan is not listed above, you are still welcome at our practice. We see patients with out-of-network coverage and will work with you to help you understand what your plan may cover and what your estimated costs will look like. Patients who have out-of-network plans should be aware that benefit reimbursement rates and coverage levels vary by carrier and plan, so we encourage you to contact your insurance provider directly for specific benefit details.
For patients without insurance coverage, we accept cash, debit, and credit cards. We also accept HSA (Health Savings Account) and FSA (Flexible Spending Account) cards, which can be a great way to use pre-tax dollars toward your dental care.
We also offer financing options through CareCredit and Cherry for patients who want to extend their payments over time. More information about our financing options is available on our financing page.
Frequently Asked Questions
We know insurance questions come up often, and we want to make sure you feel informed and comfortable before your visit. Here are a few of the questions we hear most.
What does it mean to be in-network?
When a dental practice is in-network with your insurance plan, it means we have a contract with that carrier to provide services at pre-negotiated rates. This typically results in lower out-of-pocket costs for you. Reed Dental Care is currently in-network with Delta Dental Premier and HealthChoice.
What happens if my insurance does not pay within 60 days?
As a courtesy, we file your insurance claim for you and only collect your estimated co-payment at the time of your visit. If your insurance carrier has not paid their portion within 60 days of your service date, the remaining balance will become your responsibility. We encourage patients to follow up with their insurance company if a claim has been pending for an extended period.
Can I still be seen if I have a plan you are not in-network with?
Yes. While we are in-network with Delta Dental Premier and HealthChoice, we welcome patients who carry other insurance plans. We will work with you to file claims as a courtesy and help you understand your estimated benefits. We also see patients who prefer to pay out of pocket, and we accept HSA and FSA cards as well.
We can't wait to see you!
